Description
With the state election commission (SEC) refusing to compromise on the "sensitivity parameter", the state government on Thursday decided to go by the report it had earlier submitted to the high court.
The report had categorized nearly 70% of the booths spread across nine districts going to polls in the first phase on July 2 as "sensitive".
The government, however, is yet to satisfy the SEC on force deployment. State election commissioner Mira Pandey wants the detailed security plan from the state government by Monday, when the poll panel makes the election notification.
